Born in East London I grew up in the 70s and 80s. In the late 70’s I was ‘at that age’ when boys discover girls and music. Never being one to follow the crowd, I dismissed the Punk and Mod brigade and due to my sister Maxine playing club music, I labeled my self as a soul-boy, complete with wedge haircut, pipeline baggy jeans and smooth loafers.

At the age of 14, I dj’d at the local youth club but gave them a new twist, I actually tried to get the tunes to gel, at this time Lynx – your lying, Imaginations Body Talk were the main tunes on the radio and I was considered the coolest dude. I did get into the hip hop/electro scene but my roots were with funk.

A few years later I got married, bought myself some stuff and got hired by a local businessman to DJ on a roadshow. I had a little spat at a few Essex clubs but things moved on privately. Come the late 80’s early 90’s I dj’d lots of acid parties and raves, my bag was the house scene.

I kept my hand in the mixing but sold my Technics 1200s et al at around 28 years old.

Fast forward, 1997….. Ibiza club house had me hooked. I’d mix sets for friends and supply tunes for private parties for select audiences.

2008, I met Tony Mazitelli through work. We discoved we were into the same music and became friends. He introduced me to Scotty and I realized I was missing a good scene….

….the future begins.
